ABOUT SARAH

A little about me—my journey into healing began long before my formal studies. Like many, I struggled as a teenager and as a young woman, navigating feelings of uncertainty, self-doubt, and emotional weight that felt too heavy to carry alone. Through my own process of healing, I developed a deep passion for mental health, personal growth, and the power of true inner transformation.

Over the years, I have studied and practiced  Psychotherapy, Clinical hypnotherapy, NLP, EFT, Meditation, and a Masters in Kyela Sound Therapy—each of these modalities offering a unique way to understand, release, and reconnect with our authentic self.

Through my work and personal experience, I have found two fundamental truths that apply to all of us, no matter our background, struggles, or where we find ourselves in life.

1. THE WEIGHT WE CARRY

We all have a backpack—a collection of experiences, emotions, and beliefs we carry with us. Some of these serve us, but many hold us back. Negative self-talk, fears, feelings of not being good enough, subconscious patterns that shape our choices, behaviours, and the way we engage with the world around us—these become the weight that keeps us from stepping fully into the life we are seeking.

We all have obstacles to overcome—grief, anger, pain, self-sabotage. And beneath it all, there is always something just below the surface, waiting to be seen, healed, and released.

Letting go of this weight isn’t about forgetting or erasing the past—it’s about releasing what no longer serves us so that we can move forward with lightness, clarity, and joy.

Finding Our True North

I like to think of healing as a journey between North and South—two opposing forces that shape the path of our lives.

North is our whole, connected self—the version of us that feels deeply fulfilled, joyful, and aligned. It’s the life we desire, the destination we are moving toward, and the guiding light that calls us forward throughout our healing journey.

South represents everything that pulls us away from that path—our fears, distractions, limiting beliefs, and patterns that keep us stuck. These diversions lead us away from our true essence, making life feel heavier, harder, and more disconnected.

Healing is the process of releasing what tethers us to the South, so that the path to our true North becomes clearer, lighter, and more joyful.

2. THE POWER OF CONNECTION

The second truth I have come to understand is that beneath all of our struggles, distractions, and self-sabotaging behaviours, there is a deep and undeniable need for connection.

Connection is our primary source of life, joy, love, and self-expression.

It is what allows us to feel truly alive and aligned. Yet, throughout life, we can find ourselves disconnected—from ourselves, from our purpose, from our creativity. We may feel distant from the people we love, our friendships, our sense of belonging, or even our spiritual path.

When we feel disconnected, we can feel lost, unfulfilled, or unsure of our place in the world. But when we nurture these connections, we feel safe, seen, supported, and deeply grounded in who we are.

Healing is about restoring and strengthening these connections, so that we can move through life with openness, presence, and a sense of belonging to something greater than ourselves.

A Safe Space For Transformation

These one-on-one sessions are for those who are ready to explore these two powerful aspects within themselves—to release what is weighing them down and to rediscover a deep, meaningful connection to life.

With this being the Chinese Year of the Snake, we are in a powerful time of transformation—a time to shed the old layers, to let go of what no longer serves our highest good, and to step forward with clarity, purpose, and ease.

Coming Soon - A Community For Growth & Connection

Later this year, I will also be creating and opening a nurturing group space—a place for personal growth, deep exploration, and most importantly, a like-minded and supportive community to connect with. Through workshops, group healing sessions, and shared experiences, this space will offer a sense of belonging and encouragement as we move through our healing journeys together.

If you feel ready to embark on this journey of healing and self-discovery, I invite you into this space with me. Whether one-on-one or as part of a growing community, my intention is to hold a space that is safe, supportive, and truly transformative.
